The Department leads and coordinates government efforts to integrate durable solutions and poverty reduction into Southwest State’s development planning.

It supports evidence-based strategies addressing displacement, poverty, livelihoods, resilience, social and economic inclusion, and sustainable community development, while strengthening coordination among government institutions, development partners and other stakeholders.
