Mr.Isaak Mohamud Mursal

Mr.Isaak Mohamud Mursal Current Director General (DG) at Ministry of Planning, Investment & Economic Development Southwest State of Somalia and formerly as DG at MoH and MoEW and has been in public sector for nearly 8 years having served as the Director General (DG) of three different Ministries. He worked as a humanitarian field worker and realized that he was passionate about helping the poor and most vulnerable. Mr. Isaak is public health graduate and masters for Global Health Management.

Mr. Ahmed Mathobe Nuunow

Mr. Ahmed Mathobe Nuunow is the current Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development of South West State (SWS) of Somalia and a Member of the SWS legislature. Mr. Mathobe has previously worked as a senior technical and policy advisor to the FGS. Before joining public service, he has worked in Somalia, Kenya and the Netherlands in the fields of humanitarian, finance and academic research.

Mr. Mathobe holds bachelor degress in Business Management, Finance & Banking and International Public Management (politics and economics) at Moi University, Kenya and the Hague University of Applied Sciences respectively. He also studied MSc public administration, Economics and Governance at Leiden University, Netherlands. He is currently pursuing PhD at Leiden University.
